Welcome Back! Homework 1/5/16

Parents and students,

Welcome back to school! I have missed all the kids so much! I am excited to get back to school and see their wonderful faces again. I hope you all had an amazing break! We are starting the Six Flags Read to Succeed Challenge. The students are encourage to read 360 minutes by February 26th. I will also allow this to count as their Book It goal. If you do not wish to have your child participate, I need a written note from a parent stating that they will not be participating. This also means they will not be participating in the Book It goal for January and February. I encourage the students to start using their cursive more often. I will only be writing in cursive from now on, unless there is an extenuating circumstance. I also ask that students memorize their multiplication facts. They will be tested every day over these. These are not for a grade, but will benefit them when taking unit tests.
